These are, more or less, the questions I ask families at the start of every memorial painting — because the small, sensory memories are the ones that hold a person. Not the résumé; the hands, the laugh, the ordinary afternoon.
Answer what you can. Skip what you can’t — there are no wrong answers and no required ones. Some questions may be hard in the good way; take your time, and know your answers save on this device as you go.
