Pregnancy and infant loss is grief that much of the world refuses to see: there may be no service, no leave, no acknowledgment — sometimes not even from people who love you. If you're here, your loss is real, and there are entire organizations built around believing that.
The networks below cover miscarriage at any stage, stillbirth, and the death of an infant. Several run free online groups you can join within days, sorted by experience — loss after infertility, subsequent pregnancy, fathers and partners — so you're not explaining the basics to a general room.

What these groups are actually like
These groups tend to be smaller and quieter than other grief groups, often facilitated by someone with clinical training as well as lived experience. Partners are welcome in most, and several networks run partner-specific sessions — the grief of the non-carrying parent is routinely dismissed, and these rooms take it seriously.
Expect the group to honor your baby by name if you named them, and expect nobody to say 'at least'. Those two things alone are why many parents stay.
Finding one near you: beyond the networks above, your local hospice is required to offer bereavement support and most run free community grief groups — call and ask for the bereavement coordinator. More on that here.

Questions
What families ask
My loss was early. Is a support group still for me?
Yes. Grief doesn't scale with gestational weeks, and the organizations here say so explicitly. An early miscarriage that was also the end of a long fertility journey can be one of the heaviest losses a family carries — the groups know this pattern well.
Is there support for partners and fathers?
Yes — Star Legacy and Share both run partner-specific groups, and PSI has dad-focused support. Partners often grieve while feeling required to be the strong one; a room of other partners removes that job for an hour.
What about support during a pregnancy after loss?
Pregnancy after loss is its own kind of hard — hope and terror at once. Star Legacy and PSI both run subsequent-pregnancy groups; many parents call these the most valuable of all.
